How often should I visit Northbridge Smiles?

We encourage our patients to attend preventive dental checkups two times each year. During these regular appointments, we’ll evaluate your smile, clean your teeth, and conduct a one on one consultation and treatment planning session.

Can I bring my children to your practice?

All our locations have activities for kids including, but not limited to, X-Box, indoor gyms, interactive games, etc. We are happy to treat patients of all ages at Northbridge Smiles. Our dentist and team have years of experience working with young patients, and we’d be happy to offer your children superior dentistry services.

What is periodontal therapy?

Gum disease affects more than 50% of US adults, and periodontal therapy from our team is how we help patients renew their oral health following gum disease.

What is TMJ dysfunction?

The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) connect the jaw to the skull bone. When these joints are strained, used excessively, or otherwise damaged, pain when moving the jaw or limited jaw mobility may occur. When this happens, patients are said to suffer from TMJ dysfunction or TMD.

Can you help during a dental emergency?

We are happy to provide same day emergency dentistry services in most cases. If we’re unable to see you the day you call, we’ll walk you through pain management and first aid over the phone.

Do you take my insurance?

We are happy to process and file claims for most major dental insurance providers. We are in-network with a variety of PPO benefit plans and MassHealth.

Do you offer payment plans?

Our office partners with CareCredit, a third party medical and dental financier, to offer patients affordable monthly payment plans. Qualified patients receive low or no interest financing through CareCredit.

What is an Implant ?

An implant is a titanium post, similar to the root of a tooth that is surgically placed into the jawbone. The implant then supports a crown which replaces a single tooth or a bridge or denture which replaces several teeth.

What is a Sports Mouth Guard?

It is recommended that participants in certain sports, especially contact sports, should wear a mouth guard. The mouth guard can minimize the risk of fractured teeth, cut lips and damage to your mouth. A mouth guard can also reduce the occurrence of concussions when worn as directed.

Do Kids Need X-RAYS?

Yes. Dental decay can occur as soon as children have teeth. Dental decay progresses faster in children, so it is recommended x-rays occur on a regular basis as prescribed by the dentist.
